Cities of Nigeria
The cities of the game, one page each — what waits in the park, which vehicle the city grants, and a little of the real place behind it.
Ekene is set on a map of Nigeria with 61 real cities on it, and the reason the game works at all is that Nigerian road transport is already a game with its own rules. Goods move because they are worth more somewhere else. Vehicles are chosen for the road rather than the distance. A motor park is not a bus station; it is a market, an employer, a rumour mill and a departure board at once.
These pages are about the cities as the game has them. Each one opens with a little of the real place, then gets to the point: what the city costs and grants, the special vehicle only it puts in your Motor Shop, and the passengers, goods and animals most likely to be waiting in its motor park.
The four metropolises
Four of the map's cities are classed as metropolises, and they are the four that anchor the country's road network in real life too.
